THE RIGHT QUESTION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE RIGHT ANSWER.

~ PLATO

Ancient Greek philosopher, innovator of the written dialogue, and the foundational thinker and father of Western philosophy, Plato believed in truth-seeking over winning and the use of reason to build bridges between adversaries. Born some 400 years BC, Plato believed curiosity gives rise to creativity and the right question is more important than the right answer. The latter closed the mind, while the former opened it.

We embrace Plato’s philosophy, and believe the endless questioning of a thought or idea serves to further form and polish it, can render it more valuable, and at times, leads to a vision of something unimaginable.

At The Mediation House, we hold a deep belief that none of us are smarter than all of us. That we need all of the brains in the game and the egos out of the room. That we need to think until it hurts, until we can see what others cannot see, so we can do what others cannot do. It is a culture of questions and collaborations, relationships that become partnerships, ideas that become innovations, and visions that become reality.

As you peruse the possibility of linking with The Mediation House, you will witness the work, the partnership, and the language of countless questions and curious minds turning mountains into level ground that defines the road of meeting in the middle.

While it’s been over 2,400 years since Plato and his contemporaries asked the questions that elevated our way of thinking, only a countless few still hold onto the communication and language that defines solutions.

With our minds open, the leaders at The Mediation House are always in search of better questions to unveil a way of thinking that has a tendency to be forgotten in the distractions of emotion.

Let’s be inquisitive, first. And frame questions. To build bridges. And restore a future.

Carpe Diem,
